Roll: Katara is the one to free Aang from the ice and her influences guide him into fulfilling his avatar duties and learn waterbending. After she masters it in the North Pole Katara becomes Aang’s waterbending teacher as they travel.

Roll: Toph is a blind, sarcastic young girl. She used to fight for other people’s entertainment and herself of course and she was known as The Blind Bandit. We first saw Toph in Episode 24 - The Swamp but we the propably knew her in Episode 26 - The Blind Bandit.
